How Beginners Can Astral Project

I would say that 95% of beginners who want to reach the astral realm give up before ever getting close to separating. People new to astral projection don't realize the time or patience that it takes to learn this technique. By learning about the tools and techniques that exist to guide you when you practice, you can dramatically eliminate the amount oftime that is needed for beginning projectors and improve your chances of successfully separating.

The Astral Realm

The astral is the spiritual realm that is located past the awareness of the five senses. It is the realm where spirits, entities, guides, and angels exist. It's also the realm where people go once they pass on from this life to the next. There are various levels that exist in this realm and this can be what many refer to as heaven and hell. In the higher levels you will witness angels and be engulfed by a sense of complete peace. At the lower levels low vibrating spirits such as what most call demons and other non-friendly spirits exist.

If you are just beginning to learn about the astral realm then you may be a little confused about what exactly it is. This is not some form of conscious dreaming as most people who have never had a true projection claim but an actual experience with real encounters in an actual place. It is the act of changing your conscious awareness from your physical body to your astral body where you can then experience new places of existence.

What are the Benefits of Astral Projecting

The Dangers Before You Begin

When beginners first experience the hypnagogic state it can be frightening. I assure you, it is fully natural and safe. You might have heard many myths surrounding this as it's a relatively unknown concept. Some of these myths include not being able to come back to your earthly body once you separate, negative spirits being able to enter your earthly body, attracting negative beings, and even getting killed. Only one of these legends are true.

It is actually true that you can bring in evil entities that feed off your life force. Now you can do this in the physical too but this is all up to you and what doors you want to open. Just as you wouldn't enter sketchy areas after dark or pray to negative entities in the physical, you shouldn't go around those areas or attempt to communicate with them in the astral. As long as you stay away from them they will stay away from you. If you do happen to meet a negative spirit while projecting then just ask your spirit guides or guardian angels to protect you and you will have nothing to fear.

How to Astral Project for Beginners

Now that you have learned the beginning to the fundamentals it's time to learn how to successfully astral travel. Patience, determination, and the available tools used correctly will all take into affect how long it will take before having a successful session. If someone is dedicated and practices a lot then it can take no longer than a couple of days. Usually it will take a few weeks to learn if you implement all the right techniques, but if not it can be many months usually resulting in you quitting. Before trying any of the tips be prepared to set aside at least fifteen minutes a day to practice. How much you practice is up to you but this will determine how quickly you master it.

Hypnagogic State - This is state of mind we must be in before astral projection will occur. This is when the conscious mind is fully awake yet the physical body is completely asleep. It's a form of paralysis. getting to this level will be the most complicated thing to reach when you are trying to project. When you can reach this state and master how to stay in it, projecting from your body will be surprisingly simple.

Extremely advanced daily mediation practitioners can make it to this state quite simple but this requires years of practice and a daily meditation routine. A lot of breathing exercises available that work well, but these can take a lot time. If you are dedicated to learning how to separate fast then the best way to do so is by using wonderful aids such as binaural tones. This technology dramatically increase your success rate of astral projecting while dramatically shortening the time it takes to learn.

Binaural tones - These aids are known as entrainment that influences your frequencies in the brain to obtain desired states of consciousness instantly. By utilizing astral projection binaural tones, they will bring your brainwave frequencies down to the paralysis state of mind very fast and let you stay there where you will then be able to start the projection process. For binaural beats to work correctly you must wear headphones. While attempting to project, get comfortable, relax, and listen to the sounds of the recording. Do not try any astral projection strategies until you have accessed the paralysis state.

How do you know when you have reached the paralysis state? Basically your body will be completely numb. You won't be able to move it at all and you will have tingling sensations all over your entire physical body. It's almost like the same sensation you get when your arm falls asleep except for it's totally painless. You will probably hear a humming sound in your head or other strange noises that some refer to as astral static. Many just starting pay too much concentration to these humming sensations and noises which usually snaps them out of this state. Try the best you can to push them out of your head and stay determined on astral projecting.

Initiating the Separation Process - It's time for the exciting part. Your first few times you will most likely fail. Most beginners don't know just how real it can be. Fear and not being sure what's going to happen, plus the adrenaline of realizing your going to astral travel for the first time will surely wake you up. Just try to stay calm and don't get frustrated.

When in the paralysis state you will most likely be able to raise your astral legs and arms pretty easily. The upper part of the body will be the most difficult because it has the strongest attachment. Implementing the basic strategies below, you will be able to easily separate with very little amount of practice.

Roll Out Technique - Take your spiritual body and act as if you're rolling out of bed. Many beginners make the mistake of physically rolling out of bed ending the entire hypnagogic state. Make sure not to attempt any physical exertion but to roll out only in your mind.

The Rope Technique - Probably one of the best and easiest techniques to implement. Some beginners like to hang a long piece of yarn from the ceiling for a starting place but this is not mandatory. Imagine that there is a rope in arms reach. Grab it with your astral arms and use it to loosen yourself out.

Visualization - The most difficult to learn, but once done correctly, it works the best. It also depends on how great of an imagination you have. You basically imagine you're standing around 5 feet away from your body. See the room with as much detail as possible from the perspective of this position. If you can do it good enough with enough details, your astral body will separate to that area.

Feather - Visualize that your spiritual body is lighter than a feather. When you feel yourself getting lighter, you can basically separate.

Will Power - Not for people stating out but with a lot of practice you will be able to will yourself into the astral.

Tips on Control in the Astral

When you have finally projected your body you will find yourself in a new dimension with new laws that are not the same as the physical world. You must take beginning steps and practice to master how to use your astral body. The first thing you will want to do is get as far away from your physical body as possible. Your physical body is like a magnet and it's easy to get pulled back in, and definitely at first when your astral muscles are still very weak.

Exploring the astral plane at first it may be as if you are drunk. It's strange, you get disoriented easily, your sight can be different or totally gone, and it's difficult to move where you want to go. This is where you must learn the power of your conscious. The astral realm is a much higher vibrational realm than the less subtle earth dimension. Just like the physical, your thoughts create your reality, just at a much faster rate.

With these simple tips and listening to binaural beats anybody will be able to astral project as long as they take the time to practice.
