And I am not talking about the predictions of doom. It is true that prediction from many different traditions talk about this period of history as one of great transition and transformation, which will be accompanied by great destruction both in the physical world and mental world, and some prophecies talk about the death of large percentages of the population and refer to a small minority of people who will survive. However, what might initially slip pass the eye is the striking similarity in the 2012 solutions recommended by healers from many different traditions for getting through this period of transition.. Succinctly put the healers are recommending a return to nature, and re-connecting with the spirit of the Universe.

Along these lines, other writers talk about a new paradigm of living that will help people adapt to the future that includes a more personal connection with nature and the universe.

These refreshing invitations to reconnect with the source of life are a follow-up to writings of the 20th century, beginning with works such as "Civilization and its Discontents," by Sigmund Freud that talked about man's separation from nature or from his own nature. This separation is the product of the explosion of industry and technology that has taken place in the last 150 years since the beginning of the industrial revolution.

He throws a lifeline to scoffers, those immersed in science, by pointing out that the very technological inventions that characterize our era, bring proof of the man's connection to the Universe. The radio, for example, broadcasts around the world via invisible vibrations. In the same way, Great Sun points out, that every human is constantly broadcasting and receiving from the Universe.

Great Sun and Eden Sky, and also many other healers, advocate natural remedies for strengthening well being, avoiding harmful additives, avoiding toxic emissions and in general avoiding noisome stimuli. While technological progress races on unmercifully, we need to consider the advice of these seers and healers which have spontaneously arisen from so many disparate traditions of healing, suggesting it is advice coming from the Universe itself.
