After all, having a Jacuzzi in your home can also mean an added item on your to-do list. As the bath is pretty special, it needs some special care and maintenance too. First off, you can clean a Jacuzzi tub quite like cleaning a typical bath tub. You can use your favorite brand of cleanser and a soft absorbent rag. If you there are some particularly dirty spots and the rag can't get rid of them, you can use a scrub brush. If there are some stubborn stains, you can use baking soda or vinegar to eliminate them.

Once all the dirt spots on the surface have been removed, it s time to rinse the tub out. Once again, make sure that you have fully cleansed the surface, including the corners and creases. When they re all done, rinse the tub and move on to cleaning up the jets.

All Jacuzzi baths have jets and this is what makes them a little more demanding when it comes to maintenance. In order to clean the jets, you need to fill the tub with hot water to the top. Check the temperature because it has to be at least 140 degrees Fahrenheit. You may use a food thermometer to check because it can withstand the heat.

While you are filling the tub with hot water, put one cup of bleach and four teaspoonful of dishwashing soap into it. It is ideal to put these substances in the tub during this time so they can get completely incorporated into the water.

When the Jacuzzi is already filled to the top, turn the jets on. Let them run as if you were in the tub. The mixture of water, bleach, and soap would circulate in the bath and get the jets cleaned inside out.

After fifteen minutes, turn the jets off and drain. Then, fill it up again but this time, do so with tap water. When you have reached the appropriate level, turn the jets on again. Let them run for another fifteen minutes and then drain.

After draining the tap water, you may notice that some dirt from the jets was left on the floor and wall of the bath tub. If this is the case, you can simply clean it with the cleanser and rinse it again. When the tub s all spick and span, it s ready for the next use.

Jacuzzi baths may seem to need scrupulous cleaning but they are definitely worth the hassle. If you want your whirlpool to last long, then it s just sensible that you give it the care it needs.
