There are many kinds of gambling depending on the location and on the game. They are divided into two main categories: the casino games and the non-casino games. The casino games are the type of games played inside the casinos as the name clearly implies.

Casino games are classified into Table games and electronic games. Table games are games played on a table and run by one or more live dealers or croupiers Examples of table games include blackjack, roulette, craps and baccarat.

- Blackjack is a kind of table casino game that can be played with playing cards. It comprises of a maximum of eight people per game exclusive of the dealer. It is also called 21 because the player with the cards nearest to the value of 21 is the winning hand.

- Roulette is another kind of table casino game. It is like a spinning wheel with range of numbers and colors on the sides and can be played by tossing a small ball into the wheel while it spins and the spot where the ball lands is the winning combination.

- Another table casino games is called craps. It is a game that can be played with dice which players gamble on the result of the roll. It is the easiest table game to play in terms of equipment. It can also be played in the streets or outdoors in informal settings. It needs two dealers, a box-man and a stickman.

- Another table game is the baccarat which is played with luck. It does not require skills or strategies in playing it. The player who has the highest card value will be the winner.

Another kind of games played inside the casinos is called Electronic gaming. These are games which uses gaming machines and computers.

- Slot machines are a kind of electronic game with three reels that spins when the button is pressed or switched. Older slot machines use levers to start the machine. When a player gets the same images as the reels stop, he|she wins the prize money.

- Another electronic game is called video poker where gamers can play cards and their opponent is the computer interface.

-Another type of electronic game is called pachinko. It is a game invented by the Japanese. It is a version of the pinball machine
