The intention of Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis reviews is to provide details on the pills used for erectile dysfunction.
Usually called as impotence, erectile dysfunction (ED) is a sexual abnormality where the penis cannot sustain erection than it normally could. Severity ranges from being able to hold erection for a short time to not having erection at all, either occasionally or totally. Complete inability to hold erection rises from five percent among 40 years old to 15% among 70 years of age and older based on a Massachusetts Male Aging Study.
One way to solve the issue is by taking drugs, which claim to help men get an erection. These drugs are generally referred to as ED pills and are available as Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis. Although all three claim to offer the same thing, which is to provide normal erection hence fulfilling sex life, all differs in the way they work. As such, Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis reviews usually include what active ingredients are present, when to take them, how long the effect will last, and what side effects are involved.
Viagra, manufactured by Pfizer and approved more than ten years ago in 1998, is classified as a PDE-5 inhibitor. PDE-5 enzymes neutralize the amount of cyclic guanosine monophospate (cGMP) - a substance naturally produced by the penile tissue as response to any form of stimulation and important to achieve erection - present leading to failed erection. Viagra is to be taken orally 60 minutes before sexual contact. Its effect is a quick-fix, lasting for only four hours. But since it is the first anti-ED drug and has been studied and tested more times than the other ED pills, it has the impact of being a safe option. Side effects of using this product include diarrhea, dizziness, dyspepsia headache, flushing, upset stomach, stuffy nose, increased light sensitivity, back pain and muscle aches.
Cialis, like Viagra, is a PDE-5 inhibitor; the difference is that its main active ingredient is not Sildenafil but Tadalafil. Cialis works by maintaining a high level of cGMP which also helps the penis attain vascular muscle relaxation. This oral drug is taken 20-60 minutes before having sex, can deliver results in as little as 20 minutes but works with sexual stimulation to achieve erection, and lasts for 36 hours. Cialis, however, is not a permanent treatment for ED and must not be taken more than once a day. Dizziness, headache, back and/or muscle aches may occur.
Levitra, on the other hand, is made of Vardenafil hydrochloride, a strong molecule weighing 488.604 g/mol. Vardenafil, though similar with Sildenafil and Tadalafil in function, is said to be more potent. Levitra is to be taken 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity and lasts about six to eight hours. The side effects of taking this pill are similar to those associated with taking Viagra or Cialis.
As with all medication, it would be wise to read Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis reviews before purchasing or taking any of these products, as well as consult with your physician.
