You can run, do squats, push ups and minor weight lifting.
As mentioned earlier, healthy living is important in muscle building. It requires a lifestyle with appropriate food and diet, enough sleep, sufficient water and most especially enough rest. Do not stress yourself too much. Do not take things in a rush. You must follow what your trainer is telling you because they know what's best. They were trained for that. Eating the right food is essential. Proportionally take carbohydrates, protein, vegetables, fruits and fats. Your trainer will/can give you the diet plan perfect for your body and muscle condition. Most importantly, as mentioned above, discipline as well as patience is important. Make sure to strictly follow your healthy diet and exercises routine. Do not give up if you do not see a big change in an instant. It takes time, it is a process after all.
