"Get Him to the Greek" is one of the best current movies on dvd released. A farce film co-written and directed by Nicholas Stoller, Get Him to the Greek is said to be Stoller's sequel to his 2008 movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". The film tells the story a 23-year old ambitious young man named Aaron Green and his mission to accompany a British rock star named Aldous Snow for a 100 million dollar world tour where he is bound to win back the attention of a true love. Released in June 2010, Get Him to the Greek is Stoller's second collaboration with its lead stars Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. In the film, Brand reprises his role as Aldous Snow which first appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The film also stars Rose Byrne, Elizabeth Moss and Hip-Hop superstar Sean "P.Diddy" Combs. The film's "Unrated" and "Theatrical Version" was released in a 2-disc set in both the DVD and Blu-Ray format on September 28, 2010.

"Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky" is one of the current movies on dvd to check out. Released in May 2009, the critically-acclaimed French film by Jan Kounen became the official closing presentation during the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2009. The film is based from the illusory book "Coco and Igor" by world-renowned novelist Chris Greenhalgh who also wrote the screenplay. Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky tells the story of the love affair between legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky which took place in Paris during the year 1920. Chanel's head designer Karl Lagerfeld lent his financial support for the film's production. The film's storyline is said to be a replica of Anne Fontaine's biographical film "Coco Avant Chanel" which starred French actress Audrey Tautou. The New York Times praised the DVD edition of the film for its simplicity and elegance of the storyline. Casey Burchby of the "DVD Talk" website praised the film's opening sequence which is said to be reminiscent of Stravinsky's masterpiece entitled "The Rite of Spring". The DVD version of Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky features additional Russian and English language subtitles.

"The Killer inside Me" is Michael Winterbottom's most controversial film to date. Based on a best-selling 1952 work of fiction by iconic writer Jim Thompson, the film tells the story of an attractive and unassuming small community sheriff named Lou Ford. Ford takes revenge by killing people in his community especially women due to traumatic situations from his past such as law enforcement and women problems. The Killer Inside Me premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. The film's exclusive distributor IFC Films recently announced the release of its theatrical version in the DVD and Blu-Ray format on June 2010. The Killer inside Me garnered nominations at the Berlin Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival. The DVD edition was released worldwide in September 2010.
