Although condoms will not prevent │ keep you from contracting the virus-- as it may be in other areas such as inside the vagina or on the scrotum-- using some protection is still better than not. Besides, there are other diseases that can be through sexual intercourse. Better protect yourself as much as possible and at all times.

Genital warts in men can affect not only the penis and scrotum but the urethra and the rectum too. Oftentimes, the lesions are bumpy or elevated, but some of them could also be flat so it's not always easy to know whether you have them. When the warts are obstructing │ blocking your urethral opening and give you difficulty in urinating, you should go to your doctor as soon as possible.

Some people say that genital warts are a symptom of hpv cervical cancer in women. This is not true. Again, warts in the genitalia are often caused by low-risk HPVs. They are treatable │ curable. When you develop them, see your healthcare practitioner and know about the treatment option that may suit you best.
