Saturday night was the place to be as Viren Khanna, Bangalore's reigning Party King, surpassed everyone's expectations with his Blockbuster Bollywood Night featuring Mumbai's Celebrity Console Master DJ Akbar Sami. Presented by Kingfisher Beers, Kinvah Wines and Burn, Khanna's reputation as 'The Man' for the party scene was only bolstered by this TKO celebration.

Viren Khanna, the 25 year old former software engineer turned Monarch of Bangalore's nightlife delivered this Bollywood Blast as a get together for his IVES Club (www.ives.in) members. With a membership numbering into the thousands, many members from around the world came to the party to meet up, socialize with Kinvah (the best wine in India) and revel in the irresistible Bollywood music. Young expats from Germany, France, Italy and Japan had gathered together this night in Bangalore to be together and enjoy the Bollywood beat.

DJ Akbar Sami, the main man behind Jalwa and most of Bollywood's top hits spun his music magic at the Pool Side in Hotel Chancery Pavilion as hundreds of Bangalore expats partied the night away. Known for his ability to keep the flow of the party rocking all night long, India's #1 DJ did not disappoint the packed crowd that included top celebrities and socialites, all taking to the dance floor enjoying his irresistible reggae ton, electric house beats, remixes and the ever favorite Bollywood hits.

Lending an authentic elegance to the party, many of the Bangalore expats took the party theme to heart and came dressed in their best Bollywood finery. One thing for sure, everyone had come ready to party to DJ Sami's inviting house music mixes. By 10:00pm the Hotel Chancery Pavilion was packed with ecstatic expat partygoers dancing to the charismatic sounds from the DJ's beckoning console.

The generous no host bar presented by Kinvah Wines offered their finest wines and wine cocktails at very reasonable prices which were served by staff specially trained in the proper presentation of these exquisite wine choices for the night. With the outstanding Manthan, Shiraz and Cabernat Shiraz red wine selections there wasn't an empty glass in the place. With the Kinvah varieties offering the best wine in Bangalore each and every person at the party was sporting a glass full of their favorite wine infusion, with each connoisseur delighted with the full bodied flavors available from the Kinvah Wines cocktail menu.

As the evening culminated in the spontaneous celebration of a friend's birthday, Viren Khanna (always the one to make a big splash!) took the lead in jumping into the magnificent swimming pool in the middle of the celebrating crowd. While he was joined by many of the IVES members in the pristine waters, the less bold Club members who decided to stay high and dry gathered around the pool to join Khanna in singing a Happy Birthday Song in a very special moment of friendship and celebration.

Without a doubt, this was an exceptional night as the King of Parties brought the King of DJs to Bangalore for a Bollywood Dream Come True.
