Moon is a 2009 science-fiction film directed by Duncan Jones (son of David Bowie) and starring Sam Rockwell. The Runaways was one of the most awaited movies coming soon on DVD because it featured Kristen Stewart, star of the Twilight movies in a role that's the polar opposite, and the now-grownup Dakota Fanning. The film revolves around the short life of legendary all-girl rock band the Runaways, fronted by a pre-Blackhearts Joan Jett and Cherie Currie. The buzz the film generated during its festival run and limited theatrical released helped make it one of the most popular new DVD movie releases. A month after its home video release it remains one of the most sought-after current movies on DVD for rentals in various formats.
