The human mind is full of astounding things. The possibilities are just endless. It has been proven that when humans are not contented with something, they tend to find ways on how to satisfy their needs. For example, when there is need for a light source, humans thought of ways on how to have a ready means of light. Hence, there came the light bulb. When men got curious of what is beyond the sea, they made the boat and when they wanted to know what the sea has in store, they thought of creating submarines and underwater facilities. All of the inventions of mankind are results of a never-ending need. Man continues to invent items that could be used to make life easier. They build large machines for large workloads and even made the smallest machines and devices just to satiate their thirst to dig deeper. Inventions vary from complicated ones to those simple inventions that are essential to our daily living. Through the process of inventing, man has learned many things about the environment and himself. Man discovered that fruits and vegetables are great sources of nutrients that would be beneficial to the body. In this discovery, they searched for ways on how the nutrients would be better absorbed and used by the body. They then found out that nutrients are readily absorbed when it is in their liquid form. But there is a problem, aside from the process being time consuming; doing the separation manually is such a laborious task especially if the fruit is large. This drove them to invent a machine that would help separate juices from the fruits. Thus they came up with the idea of yet another brilliant invention, the juicer.
Due to the demand that fruits be turned into juice in less time and less effort possible, the machine was invented in the year 1928. The inventor and the first one to use the first citrus juicer is Isaac Zaksenberg from Israel. It has been designed to squeeze and separate the juice from the pulp of fruits like lemon, lime, orange and the like. The first of the juicer's kind was designed with a conical ridged center. With reference to the usage of the juicer, the user would have to cut the fruits in half to expose the pulp. After this, they would have to center the fruit into the conical ridged center and press the fruit down and turn it back and forth to make the juice come out. This feature would then be the frequent design on future juicers. Just as many other inventions became modernized because of the changing world, the juicers' designs changed too in order to keep up with its electronic counterparts. There are now a variety of juicers available to the public. These juicers have different functions and different designs. Some are even designed to look like life from another planet and many other designs are just as weird as the latter. A click of the mouse is all it takes. All that the consumer needs to do is determine what will best suit their needs.
