Erectile dysfunction could also be caused by low blood pressure or hypotension. Hypotension is equated to lack of blood in the body. This means that the blood cannot reach the penile area even though there is sexual stimulation. Erectile dysfunction can be prevented through proper diet and exercise. People should avoid high fat diet by eating steamed meat and vegetables. This would allow better blood circulation and avoid build up of fats in the blood vessels. People should also exercise regularly. Running and brisk walking are recommended since they improve cardiovascular function.
