If you know about hosting a website, you know you've got to have an FTP program to transfer files to your host to allow them to be shown on your website! Well...that was once the cast. HostGator's Cpanel program completely takes the place of my old FTP program. you just log in at http://mysite.com/cpanel and you're ready to go. Another benefit of Cpanel is that since it's browser based, it may be updated and files can be uploaded from all over the world.

Hostgator's hosting plans are also quite robust for the cost. The quantity of storage space you get on their servers for their $7.95 a month hatchling deal is very liberal.

I could sit here and babble on about hostgator all day (love you guys!), but now that you've heard my side, check them out for yourself and see if they're what you're looking for.
