How does the Hour of Birth Influence Ones Character?

Not as well known as animal names for birth years in Chinese astrology, a Chinese hour has its own animal sign for each 120 minute period in a day. There are a dozen creature names for each hour and each animal endows special internal characteristics to every person who is born under the sign.

The hour is the Rat sign in the Chinese astrological chart. The hour goes from 11pm to 1pm. People who have this sign tend to have a rash and impulsive nature and often do things in the heat of the moment that they later regret doing.

The Ox hour is the second sign from 1am to 3am. Obstinate, Ox people are persistent and have no trouble accomplishing their goals.

The Tiger is the third hour sign from 3am to 5am. When young, Tiger people have a lot of strife with family, but this gets better as they get older.

The fourth hour is the Rabbit hour from 5am to 7am. Rabbit sign people enjoy luck from their youth but they are not close with their parents. As with Tigers, when they hit their adult years, this situation improves.

People born under the Dragon sign (7am to 9am) are smart and extroverted with an optimistic view of life. Not surprisingly, Dragon people are good at making new friends.

Snake sign people (9am to 11am) are extremely well organized, meticulous about every detail and generous when sharing with family and friends.

Horse sign people (11am to 1pm) are intelligent and active but can be quite stubborn to change, even if they secretly know that it may be a good thing. Like their equine namesake, Horse people are free spirits and are not rooted to one spot for very long and love to travel.

Dog people born between 7pm and 9pm are good at whatever they do in life, optimistic and are not afraid of taking on new challenges.

The Boar or the Pig people, born from 9pm to 11pm, are talented with their hands and creative too. Once they seize an idea as their own, they will energetically pursue until its fruition. Once they start on something, they do not like to abandon a project until it is completed.
