Your relationship has now come to an end and you are heart-broken. You cry helpless in your bedroom watching a sappy romantic film thinking what you should do next. In most relationships, there will always be that one person who wants to get their partners back. Have you asked yourself that question too? If you have, why not trying to ask yourself this question as well, "Should you get your ex back?"

Anyone who is deeply in love will give a loud yes to that question. However, consider some of the things I am about to mention . Just like when a person is in rage, people tend to do stupid things when they are in love. And this article might prevent you from doing anything stupid.

Who's to blame?
Try to consider the reason behind the breakup. Was it your fault or was it your ex's fault? Did you do anything to cause the breakup or did he do anything to cause the split? Was it something in you that your ex wants to change like your haircut or the way you dress up? If it is then you should get your ex back. However, if you caught your ex sleeping with another person, please do not even think about it. Remember that there are some things in a relationship that are worth fighting for.

Are you willing to change to make the relationship better?
If you do want to change for your ex, consider why your ex wants to change you. Is your ex often criticizing your wardrobe? Does your ex nag you regarding your behavior in public? Did that cause your breakup? You have to think really hard about this because even if you do change and your ex remains to be like that then you'll definitely break-up again. People tend to easily fall into the same pattern of behavior even if they say they would change. Changing oneself is a commitment and if you really want to get your ex back, you have to stick to the changes.

What have you been missing?
Try to reconnect with your friends and family. Often times, when a person becomes part of coupledom , they set aside their other relationships. Sometimes, people even choose to ignore these other relationships totally. Now that you're single again, go out with your friends. Have a nice get together with your family. Catch up on things that are happening outside your ex's world. Read that book you started before you met your ex and finish it this time. Do things without your ex and enjoy it. Once you do, ask yourself the same question, "Should I get my ex back?" A little alone time do wonders to anyone.

Now that you have considered these things, if your answer is still yes then you are truly in love. Let me be the first to say that you should get your ex back. As they say "all is fair in love and war". So good luck getting your ex back, I'm sure they're worth all the trouble.
