Before you buy one, make sure that you know which one you would like or the one that will compliment your home. If you want something that you see on the site, you might want to get the bar code or print it so that you can easily show it to the salesperson for less stress and hassle.

The second thing you need to look on would be your budget. When you have finally had a budget in mind, try to stick to it. When you have enough money to spare, look at motorized window shades. They are the most convenient thing ever! You can seriously sleep all day and control the light that is coming in your room without having to get up and adjust it. However, if you are a little tight on the budget, it is recommended for you to buy things during sale season. You might want to check garage sales too. You can also look for shades that are made from materials that are not as expensive as say, real wood. You can also find shades in fabric form and this would be less costly.

The third thing you should consider would be the measurements. Make sure that you measure your windows first before you buy roller shades. It is recommended to buy shades that are an inch or two longer or wider than your exact measurements.

The fourth thing you should concentrate on would be the style. If your house is contemporary, look for finer finish or color such as silver, white or black. If you want a pop of color, you can choose green or pink. It will be totally up to you which one would compliment your room.
