However, some people just cannot discard the fact that it is still hard to control the rays of sun entering their homes in spite of using blinds. - Bathroom windows – Some challenges in bathroom windows can also pose for blinds. Since bathrooms are normally damp or moist, you need to ensure that ventilation is present so that the mildew does not build up especially when the bathroom is often used. In addition, you naturally want privacy while you are using the bathroom. You do not want neighbors or other people to see you while singing in the shower or tidying up. Blinds can be a perfect solution for your privacy; but some types of blinds crack in time because of the moisture from the bathroom. Therefore, you need a type of blinds that can sustain such conditions.

- Victorian homes – Homes such as a Victorian house offer pleasure, charm, and elegance for anyone who inhabits it. It is one reminder of a long past era. However, it is difficult to put up blinds for Victorian homes because of the bay windows. These windows hardly fit any type of blinds because no two seem to be the same in size. If you want your blinds to be perfectly fit in your bay window, you should have it custom-made. This is more expensive as compared to blinds that are ready-made in stores. Nevertheless, it will definitely keep the sunlight under control as well as add charm to your Victorian home.

Although most vertical blinds can fit most windows, it is preferable to have them customized according to the size of your windows. That way , you can optimize the use of such blinds.
