There would be times that fixing would need to be done on the vertical blinds. The clips on these window blinds would often be made of plastic. If they break, they would definitely need to be repaired.
However, no amount of gluing can put them to their original state. So the clips on vertical blinds would need to be replaced. You don't need to worry about it. They are quite simple to replace. And in most models, you wouldn't need to use any tools to do this. All you would need to do is to take out the slats attached to the clips. Then you would need to take out the clips from the head rail. If you would be using a screwdriver for this task, then make sure that you watch the pressure that you apply. Too much pressure may end up damaging the slat, causing more repairs to be done. Remember to also fit the new clips well into the head rail. If they don't then the slats would not hold properly in place as well. After you're done with the clips, reattach the slats onto them. Make sure that they are all on the same alignment.

Doing repair on vertical blinds would be quite an easy task. And it would be great if you would do some cleaning on the slats while you're at it. Cleaning the slats on window blinds would help lengthen the life and cause them to be less brittle as they age. The cleaning will also help you go through the repair smoothly. Make sure that you take care when you repair your vertical blinds. You can take down measurements before buying parts to ensure that you get the right one. Remember that window blinds add the glamour to your home.
