Other manufacturers weave the sticks in overlapping manner. This way gaps are minimized.

Roller shades are usually made of vinyl, fabric or laminates. Depending on the thickness of the material chosen, light control can be adjusted. Like the previous type, roller shades also easily match existing designs.

Cellular shades are usually made of fabric pleated such that they create honeycomb shapes. Depending on the number of honeycomb cells, privacy protection and light control can be adjusted. This type can be easily installed and they can fit even windows of irregular,unusual shapes.

Roman shades are known for their classic and elegant look. They are usually made of vinyl fabric but sometimes they are accentuated by braided strings and other ornaments.

Choosing the type of window treatment to use needs careful attention. You have to consider your house's existing theme, color scheme and purpose of which you are installing it.
