Harry Potter and the popular sequence have always made the news headlines whenever a new novel or movie is launched. This year there is a great level of thrill about the movie: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This movie is based on the sixth edition and assures its fan a great deal of adventure and action.
The plan of the film is quite full of apprehension and anticipation, as the sixth edition is said to be the darkest amongst all sequences. David Yates has directed the film and Steve Kloves has written the screenplay. The filming of the movie has been quite a hard charge and each sequences has a new director to its list. The filming of the movie began on 24th September 2007. The photography sessions lasted until May 2008. The movie has been produced under the great name of Warner Brothers.
Most of the shooting has been done in England, United Kingdom like Cantax Hills in Wiltshire, Church Street, Farnham, The Angel in Wiltshire, and several spots in other parts of United Kingdom as well, like Scotland. The producers also shot different scenes out of United Kingdom, in New Zealand, and North Scotland because according to them, the locations chosen in new countries were quiet similar to the previous ones and won't create much of a disparity.
The prominent cave scene in the film in which Dumbledore and Harry visit the mystifying place to finish off a part of Voldemort's soul has been shot in a cave wrath. This cave is situated in Scotland. Many new sites have been selected while keeping the backgrounds of previous movies in view in order to preserve the link and flow of the previous movies.
The Lacock Abbey and the village of Lacock were selected for filming the scenes of Harry's and professor Dumbledore's visit to Slughorn's house. In order to generate the dark impact, the people of the surrounding were asked to blacken out their windows and create a dark scene.
The scene that is shot almost in all the movies of the series is of Harry's boarding the famous Hogwarts Express. The shooting of this scene took place is the dewy setting of fort William Scotland on 6th October 2007. The Millennium Bridge in London was also used for shooting many scenes.
The actors attended the shooting sessions at altered months. Some joined in December while some in February. The film was made by the end of May. All the photography sessions and still posters were ready and now finally the movie is about to launch.
The director has kept the dark character of the novel more evident in the movie as well, which makes this movie all the more different. The movie has been reported to the websites as PG as it contains certain scenes of fighting, sensuality, scary images, and weird language. In general, the movie will be a great experience to watch.
