Our colon processes all of the food that we eat, but inevitably a good amount of undigested waste matter builds up in our colon. This undigested matter adds to weight as well as to an overall condition of bad health. An unclean colon will also reduce our digestive power, which adds to weight gain.
Another great real weight loss tip is to eat small amounts frequently. I know that this may seem like a good way to GAIN weight, however, eating small amounts frequently as opposed to large amounts less often, is a good weight loss strategy.
When you eat frequently, the digestive fires in your system stay "on" and will continue to burn calories and fat in your body even between meals. On the other hand, when you eat large amounts infrequently, your digestive system has to "turn on and off" 2-4 times a day. This not only makes digesting those few meals more difficult, but also takes away the ability of your body to burn fat even when you're not eating.
OK, so I've covered a portion of the "diet" part of "diet and exercise," so, what about real weight loss tips regarding exercise?
Well, there are umpteen different exercise programs out there that are legitimate and that will produce results for you. So, rather than tell you what any of them will tell you, I'm going to give you some suggestions that will help you seamlessly implement exercise into your daily life.
Exercise doesn't only have to be a scheduled activity for an hour 3 times a week or something like that. Although that is necessary, I recommend complementing that type of exercise with "non-exercise" exercise.
For example, when you pull into the grocery store parking lot, park all the way in the back, rather than driving in circles looking for the absolute nearest parking spot. Then, if possible, walk back with the groceries in hand, rather than in a cart.
Take the stairs instead of the elevator when you have the option. And if you're courageous, take two stairs per step to further increase your heart rate and strengthen your legs.
In your daily life, there is exercise waiting to happen. If you are conscious of that, you can find many different ways to include exercise like this.
You see what I mean? Diet and exercise aren't ambiguous, cloudy terms without any practical application. You can diet and exercise easily everyday and see the results quickly. So, remember these real weight loss tips: do regular colon cleanses, natural powders work well for that; eat small meals frequently, and look for ways to implement exercise into other acts in your life. If you can do that, you'll be well on your way to a great body and excellent health.
